Additional Information

The Bunkie Board is a slender piece of furniture that can be placed under the mattress of a bunk bed. This will stabilize the mattress with firm support so that no box springs are required, making sure the sleeper gets a full night's rest. The Bunkie Board securely fits in the grooves that are located on the bed, giving a firm foundation for the mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product..Super Service I tried to buy this bunkie board in the store and they did not stock them and said they could not order for me. I went online...ordered and it was delivered to my door all in the same week. The board is a good quality product and works well on my platform bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as expected We have an ikea bed with slats that weren't stiff enough. Adding this on top of the slats helped firm up the mattress so no sagging now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time saver I bought these 'box springs' to make it easier to make the beds. We were very surprised that it also made the beds much more comfortable for sleeping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent low-profile box spring substitute Bought this in January 20215 from the Zephyrhills FL store. It perfectly replaces a box spring, and so lowers the mattress to make it easier to get in/out of bed. The young man at the desk was very helpful, and as we don't have a large vehicle even arranged for delivery to the house. Price was very fair at $70. When time comes to buy new mattresses we will surely return to this company

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Cheap Construction for the price Basically it is just a cheap wood slat frame slab, with a flimsy piece of cardboard on top covered in a cheap synthetic fabric. They should have at least made it with a thin piece of laminated plywood. Granted it beats the flimsy pine wood slats on my platform bead, and you really do need the extra support base for the Mattress. I will say that it does a pretty good job of supporting the $ 2,000.00 extremely heavy Sealy Posturpedic Hybrid Mattress that I just bought.

I live on the second floor of an apartment building. Has anyone had issues getting a queen board up the stairs, does is come in two pieces?

Asked by: AGref
These are thin enough that we have not received any feedback of anyone having issues getting these through small corridors. This would be one piece if you ordered a queen.

Our twin bed does not have enough slats to support the mattress. Would the bunker board be used in place of the slats supporting the mattress?

Asked by: Barbie
You need to use both the salts and the bunkie board together.
