I was encouraged by F's comment that the bed was "too firm," because I fit into that impossible category of loving firm beds but needing a bit more comfort layer that "firms" provide. Since I found the Simmons Enhancing "firm" a bit too hard, I decided to exchange it for a bed that seems to have a firmer spring-coil system than most pillow-tops but also has a pillow-top that won't sag. This bed seems to be a close combination, significantly firmer than the average pillow-top with less "give" when you move around, but it IS a pillow-top nonetheless, and you will "sink" into it, the trademark quality of a pillow top that some people love; it does control movement transfer but not to the degree that the "firm" does. If you're looking for the best of the "firm" world and the "comfort" world, this bed is a good choice. If you're looking for that true pillow-top cloud-like sinking, this bed is NOT a good choice. It is a beautifully made quality bed, solid and heavy, stays "cool" while you sleep, cradles you less than the average pillow-top. Feels like a firm bed with more cushioning.

We LOVE this mattress. We've had it for nearly a month now. I'm no longer a blanket hog because I don't toss and turn and hubby doesn't overheat. We wake up with no aches and pains. This is a great mattress at a great price.

I purch the Camden thinking it is a true pillow top. But is too firm for me. It does have the soft top, but feels firm after I get settled in..Does not have the sink in feel of my old Simmons pillowtop....
