When disaster strikes, we do our best to help the communities we serve

See below for information on recent events

Since Hurricane Harvey has brought an unprecedented amount of rain, flooding and devastation to Southeast Texas, our hometown of Houston and the surrounding Gulf Coast is facing a challenge unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

In the hard days to come, we will stand alongside this wonderful city we have been proud to call home for more than 30 years. We know that the long-term impacts of this storm are not yet clear, but we will remain steadfast as we provide support to our employees, our community and the region as people begin to rebuild their lives.

As you rebuild, we know you will have a number of needs. Organizations such as the Red Cross, Salvation Army or United Way can provide additional resources. Many may still be focusing on initial recovery efforts, but can help direct you to services that are currently available. Please know that we are still in the initial recovery phase and will continue to update this page as we add additional partners and resources.

How you can
get a donation

The needs are overwhelming so we are working with non-profit partners who are equipped to distribute our donated items

If you are in need of a mattress, pillow or sheets, we encourage you to work with one of the non-profits we’re working with to distribute our product donations. Here’s how:

  • The Houston Furniture Bank is now distributing furniture to families that are affected by Hurricane Harvey. Families are eligible for up to three pieces of furniture, including beds, on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are in need of a bed or other furniture, please visit the Furniture Bank and fill out their request form. Proof of need, including your FEMA or Red Cross number is required, and you will be responsible for transportation of the items received. Please note you may need to return at a later date to pick up your items due to availability.

We know that times are tough and are doing everything we can to help members of the Houston community and surrounding region to get back on their feet. We will add additional partners and resources when more information is available. Large donations have been made to the following: Houston Furniture Bank, Ecclesia Church, GraceBridge Church and BakerRipley.

How we're helping

We are donating over $1M in product to local non-profits and shelters. Large donations have been made to the following: Houston Furniture Bank, Ecclesia Church, GraceBridge Church and BakerRipley.

We are distributing disaster relief kits (that include a pillow, blanket and towel) to shelters in Houston

We have 950 employees in Houston and the surrounding areas who are our family. With more than 10,000 employees across the country, we are providing a way they can help their team members who have been impacted by the storm. We are contributing $25,000 toward a fundraiser for those employees and will match up to an additional $100,000 in employee donations.
