Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sealy - Posturepedic Hybrid Elite Kingsthorne I purchased this mattress a little over a month ago now, and I am very pleased with it. Having scoliosis means it is quite important that I choose a mattress that will alleviate any added stress to my back (spine). So, I knew when it came to buying one, that I wanted it to conform to my body as well as support my body (especially my back). Since, having the mattress, I haven't had a single night in which I've awoken with any form of back pain - which is beyond a PLUS in my book. Again, I am very pleased and it was the first purchase I was able to fully make in my own name - (YAY! to successfully ADULTING)!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The difference is amazing! We bought this mattress a month ago and it is truly incredible how much better we sleep and how much better we feel in the morning! Both of us used to wake up with achy backs and still tired. Not anymore!!! We actually just got back from a vacation and couldn't believe how achy we were when we got up in the mornings after not having our mattress. My parents bought this same mattress and my mother had major back surgery a year ago. She said the first night she slept in it was the best night's sleep she has ever had! Two five-star ratings!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Nights Sleep After a full six months sleeping on this system, I can recommend it as an excellent mattress. Virtually no motion transfer can be detected. The quality of sleep you'll get is awesome - the only problem is getting out of bed in the morning! I'm a stomach - sometimes side sleeper and it is very accommodating. Other reviews noted waking up hot - that's happened to me on a few occasions but I assume it's more related to comforters, blankets that I use year-round than the memory foam. Great product and worth every penny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate this mattress The mattress that was delivered is nothing like what I tried in the store. The one I tried was plush and cradled your body, the one I recieved is harder than a rock. The one I tried absorbed any movement from someone else on the other side. What I recieved is the total opposite, even the slightest movement ripples through the entire mattress. Even though the tag says this is the kingsthorne there is no possible way it's the correct mattress. Extremely unhappy I paid so much for this horrible mattress. I will be returning it and taking my business elsewhere

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this mattress My husband and I were ready to upgrade from a queen to a king and finally made the jump and bought this mattress about 2 months ago. I wasn't sure the first couple of night just because I was getting used to the memory foam (our old mattress was a pillow top). After giving it some time we LOVE it! I have lower back issues and this mattress gives me both the support and comfort that I need. Some reviews have said this mattress gets too hot, but they must just have to wrong bedding because we have been just fine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Support After being on a spring plush mattress for 8 years, this was a big change for me to get used to. After a while my body loved it. I no longer wake up with all the aches and pains, I sleep sound through the night, and wake up refreshed. Remember it takes 21 days for your body to completely adjust to anything ergonomically new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mattress I've Ever Laid On I purchased this mattress 3 weeks ago, after laying on several in the store. I was sure this was the one, and I couldn't be more right. My fitbit sleep tracker even shows that my sleep has improved tremendously. My husband loves it as well. I can't even feel the bed move when he gets in or turns over. I'm a side and stomach sleeper, and he is a side and back sleeper, and it seems that we've found the perfect bed for both of us.

Is this matress intended for side sleepers? what cpomfort number is this matress between 1-10 being 1 the FIRM and 10 the softest?

Asked by: mazaprin
This bed is rated a 7 according to Sealy. It's soft on top but medium firm on the support. Now this is coming from someone 250 pounds someone who weights 150 pounds may not weigh enough to get the support the bed offers.

Is this mattress good for back sleepers with lower back pain?

Asked by: Ktipp
Yes! This mattress is very supportive for your lower back. This mattress has a CoreSupport Center, which means there is extra support built into the center third of the mattress to support and align your spine. This feature combined with the support of the individual spring system, and pressure relief of the memory foam will be very beneficial in reducing your back pain, so you can get a great night's sleep!
