Best bed ever, too bad they do not last
I am on my 4th Tempurpedic in 12 years. They sleep very comfortably, and are second to none in getting a good nights sleep. However, the mattress life is only two years, and can be slept on not as comfortably for another year.
The bed still looks new, but it loses the support in the memory foam. Yes, we do use the recommended mattress covers. The mattress and cover look brand new.
They do not qualify for warranty replacement, because they do not sag. I had one replaced under warranty after extensive griping. The replacement mattress was obviously a return, in that the support was already starting to soften when it arrived.
The beds are the Rhapsody models, in king size.
$1500.00 a year for a bed is too much to pay.

unhappy in NRH
We bought our Tempur-Contour Rhapsody Luxe on Memorial Day. The purchase of the mattress went very smoothly and we were pleased with the experience. But we are not totally pleased with the mattress. We were told the "off-gassing" of the new mattress would last three days. It's been one month and our master bedroom is just now livable again. The fumes are not completely gone but are reduced. This is after we walked on the mattress repeatedly and have left the windows open for days, washed the protective covering and mattress protector twice, and washed the sheets weekly. We also left the bed completely stripped down to the bare foam everyday for two weeks. You need to re-think what you tell new owners about the length of time the "off-gassing" takes.

Comfortable, but the odor from off-gassing is bad!
I have had the mattress for a month. Although I slept on it the first couple of nights very comfortably, the off-gassing is still a big issue for me, so much so that I am sleeping in the guest room. I have been walking on it (after stripping bedcovers from it) almost daily. Customer service recommended having my children jump on it but I don't have any of those currently in my house. The odor is slowly dissipating, but really, a month? Maybe my sense of smell is too acute, but it makes the entire bedroom smell. If you're like me, you might want to carefully consider before buying a foam mattress.

Smells Awful - I hope it gets better!
I bought this mattress on July4th, delivered on July5th - it smelled awful and although the smell isn't as strong now, it's still there...I don't like paying so much for something that stinks! I have stripped the bed every morning and washed the bedding every other day for the last 3-1/2 weeks, raise it every morning for air flow, I have baking soda in the room, a jar of vinegar in the room and run a fan. It does sleep hot. I sure wish I knew this before I spent my hard earned money on it, I can't enjoy the mattress bc I hate the smell so much. I still have some time to return the mattress, stuck with the adjustable base though. I gave it a poor quality star because of the smell that is still there/noticeable.

We tried 2 other tempurpediacs before getting this one and we are SO glad we didn't settle and kept trying until we found the perfect one. This is the perfect balance of soft and firm. We absolutely love it!

When no one is on it it's fine, but as soon as I lie down it sinks to the point that my back hurts . We paid $3920.94 it's the worst I've ever slept on.

Too hot for me
TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Luxe
We bought this about 1 month ago. It's very firm, almost too firm, but we were looking for a firm bed. Pretty comfortable so far, but extremely hot to sleep on. I have woke up all out sweating several times. I would not buy this one again for that reason. It's a lot of money to sweat all night.

way over priced
TEMPUR-PEDIC CONTOUR RHAPSODY LUXE KING
I purchased this mattress as a floor model and it still cost me 1700. i still think i paid way too much. they are ok mattresses but no where near worth the 4k price tag. now they have knocked the warranty down to 10 years. for the outrageous price it should be a lifetime. i think the mattress itself is 4 stars but since they are gouging consumers i am giving it 2.
