With our roots in Houston, the Mattress Firm team is thrilled to kick off the New Year with a celebration: starting today, we’re partnering with our hometown team, the Houston Astros, for their Championship Trophy Tour. The tour officially started yesterday morning at Houston City Hall, where Mattress Firm President and CEO Ken Murphy was joined by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Astros Owner and Chairman Jim Crane, and Astros President of Business Operations Reid Ryan.
For Astros fans, this tour is an opportunity to relive the magic of the Astros 2017 World Series victory and take a photo with the Commissioner’s Trophy.
“Mattress Firm is thrilled to support the Astros Championship Trophy Tour and bring the excitement of our first World Championship to the fans,” said Ken. “We look forward to seeing Astros fans throughout our home region celebrate this historic achievement with the Commissioner’s Trophy.”
Last night, we welcomed many of our neighbors and Houstonians to the first Trophy Tour stop at a Mattress Firm store in Meyerland. Weren’t able to make it last night? Don’t sweat it — the Astros Championship Trophy Tour will also coincide with Astros FanFest on Saturday, Jan. 13 at Minute Maid Park, along with 100 other stops along its route throughout Texas and the surrounding areas in 2018.

This list will be continuously updated throughout the year as more tour dates and locations are confirmed. Also, be sure to follow @MattressFirm on Instagram for behind-the-scenes footage from some of our favorite stops along the way.
