But, first…
From top to bottom, it can be difficult to know how to assemble your bed and where to place bedding like fitted sheets. On a mattress, the fitted sheet has stretchy elastic corners and can be found just below the top sheet. Secured over the mattress, the purpose behind the fitted sheet is to give your bed an added layer of protection.
Tons of sleepers don’t know how to fold fitted sheets but now you don’t have to be one of them. Remember these six easy steps to fold a fitted sheet every time you do laundry!
First, lay your fitted sheet flat and flip it over so that the side with the elastic corners is facing upwards. Now, you’re all set to fold!
Next, on one of the long sides of the sheet, fold the edge to the center of the sheet. Do the same with the remaining unfolded side.
Now that your sheet is folded in half, proceed to tuck the top corners of the sheet into the bottom corners.
With your corners properly tucked, proceed to fold the sheet in half lengthwise again.
Much like before in Step 3, grab the top corners of the sheet and tuck them securely into the bottom corners.
Lastly, fold your fitted sheet in half or thirds to fit your desired size. Voila, you’re done! Now, you can fold a fitted sheet with your eyes closed.
