Congratulations on your purchase of a Purple mattress. Purple is committed to providing superior product durability and quality so that you may achieve a healthful, comfortable rest. Purple does not expect you to experience any defects, but if you do, it is covered under the terms of this limited warranty.

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

This limited warranty covers any new mattress purchased from Purple or its authorized retailers in the United States. It does not apply to floor models, demo units, or products purchased from unauthorized resellers, liquidators, or third-party websites.

This limited warranty is provided exclusively to you, the original purchaser, and cannot be transferred. If you are not the original purchaser of the Purple mattress, you accept the product "AS IS," with all faults, and without any warranty.

By purchasing a mattress from Purple, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this limited warranty. As the purchaser, you are granted specific legal rights under this warranty, and you may have additional rights that vary by state.

Notwithstanding Purple's commitment to service defects, such service may be conducted by third parties authorized by Purple, such as retailers. This warranty is expressly limited as described herein.

HOW LONG DOES THE WARRANTY LAST?

This limited warranty applies for ten (10) years from the original date of purchase or until the mattress ownership is transferred to another person (whichever is shorter), for all Purple mattresses sold new in the USA by Purple or a Purple-authorized retailer. The mattress cover is not part of the 10-year warranty and is separately addressed herein.

WARRANTY DESCRIPTION

This limited warranty warrants against defects due to faulty workmanship or materials as described herein. If your mattress is defective during the warranty period, Purple will, at no additional charge to you (except as noted below), replace or repair the Purple mattress.

Transportation costs for claims made after 100 days from the original purchase are the purchaser's responsibility, up to Purple’s standard freight charges.

Purple reserves the right to decide whether to repair or replace the mattress. If the original model is unavailable, it may be replaced with an equivalent model.

Replacements may differ slightly in firmness, color, material, and design, and do not qualify for sleep trials or exchanges. The warranty on replacements runs from the original purchase date.

Inspection may be refused if the mattress shows evidence of damage, abuse, or neglect. Purple reserves the right to deny coverage in such cases.

THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING:

Do not remove the mattress cover when assessing condition — doing so may void the warranty.

1. Indentations greater than 1.00 inch not associated with fiber-fill settling.

2. Cracks or splits due to normal use and proper care.

3. Mattress covers: 2-year coverage for defects in materials or workmanship, including zipper faults.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING:

1. Normal firmness changes or comfort preferences.

2. Body impressions under 1.0".

3. Uncovered mattress use voids the warranty.

4. Snags, pilling, and improper cover removal.

5. Handle damage from incorrect use.

6. Damage from inadequate support systems.

7. Cosmetic flaws and minor imperfections.

8. Mildew or mold after purchase, unless reported within 30 days.

9. Damage from abuse, stains, pests, fluids, or environmental factors.

SUBSECTION 1: FRAME/FOUNDATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Sturdy support: center support and correct leg count based on mattress size.

2. Slats no more than 3.5" apart.

3. Approved adjustable bases: 750 lbs capacity. King requires 2 TXL bases.

4. Flat, non-spring foundations only — not placed directly on floor.

PRODUCT UPGRADES WITH WARRANTY REPLACEMENT

Upgrades are allowed with payment of the price difference and any related transport fees.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS:

EXPRESS LIMITATIONS

1. Implied warranties limited to warranty duration.

2. No liability for incidental/consequential damages.

3. Applies only to the mattress, not accessories.

Some states do not allow limitations of implied warranties, so these may not apply to you.

THE WARRANTY IS VOID IF:

1. Not used for normal in-home use.

2. Resold or donated.

3. Used outside the USA.

4. Used by medical patients.

5. Not used with appropriate support continuously.

6. Stored and not used.

7. Abused, damaged, or neglected.

8. Encumbered or with liens.

9. Warranty process not followed.
