Yes, it is recommended to use a Box Spring with the Sealy Posturepedic® Elite Albany II 15" Soft Euro Top Mattress. Box springs provide mattress support, and improved airflow. They can also help distribute weight and reduce sagging while adding bed height.

A split king mattress is made up of two Twin XL mattresses placed side by side. This size is a great option for some couples because it features two separate mattresses for independent movement. There's a split in the bed so you can each select your own comfort level.

Mattresses last an average of 8-10 years.

Cleaning a mattress is a simple step-by-step process. First, remove all bedding and covers to wash separately. Then, use the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner to thoroughly vacuum the entire surface of the mattress, paying special attention to seams, crevices and edges. Then, spot-clean stains where needed using different solutions depending on the stain type. Once the mattress is clean, sprinkle a generous layer of baking soda over the surface to deodorize. After a few hours (ideally overnight), vacuum the mattress thoroughly to remove all residue.

A soft euro top is designed to feel plush and cushioned right away, with a more tailored, built-in look than a traditional pillow top. On the Albany II, that softness is paired with supportive coils underneath to help you stay comfortably supported as you sink in.

Sealy uses the Posturepedic Pro Support System with PrecisionFit Coils arranged head to foot, enhanced with MaxSupport Technology. That combination is designed to deliver stronger support where your body needs it most, which can help with bed aches.

The Albany II uses individually encased coils designed to minimize motion transfer, so movement is less likely to ripple across the bed. In a queen size, there are 1,066 encased coils built to respond more independently for undisturbed sleep.

Yes, the DuraFlex Coil Edge extends support to the mattress perimeter. This can help the sides feel more stable when you sit down to get ready and when you sleep closer to the edge of the bed.

The cover features SealyChill Technology with cooling fibers woven in for a cool to the touch feel. Sealy states it provides a 20% greater cool to touch feel than Sealy Posturepedic Plus, helping the surface feel refreshing at bedtime.

It can be a great choice if you like a softer, more contouring feel and want pressure-relieving comfort from foam layers paired with targeted coil support. If you prefer a more "on top of the bed" feel, you may want to compare it to a firmer comfort level in the same collection.
