Yes, it is recommended to use a Box Spring with the Sealy Posturepedic® Elite Brenham II 16" Firm Euro Top Mattress. Box springs provide mattress support, and improved airflow. They can also help distribute weight and reduce sagging while adding bed height.

A split king mattress is made up of two Twin XL mattresses placed side by side. This size is a great option for some couples because it features two separate mattresses for independent movement. There's a split in the bed so you can each select your own comfort level.

Mattresses last an average of 8-10 years.

Cleaning a mattress is a simple step-by-step process. First, remove all bedding and covers to wash separately. Then, use the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner to thoroughly vacuum the entire surface of the mattress, paying special attention to seams, crevices and edges. Then, spot-clean stains where needed using different solutions depending on the stain type. Once the mattress is clean, sprinkle a generous layer of baking soda over the surface to deodorize. After a few hours (ideally overnight), vacuum the mattress thoroughly to remove all residue.

This mattress has a firm, stable feel designed to keep your body well supported. The euro top and ComfortSense Gel Memory Foam add a layer of cushioning, so it feels comfortable at the surface without losing its firmer character.

Sealy builds it with the Posturepedic Pro Support System, featuring PrecisionFit Coils enhanced by MaxSupport Technology. The coils are arranged head to foot to help deliver more focused support where your body typically needs it most.

It uses individually encased coils, which are designed to respond more independently than a connected coil unit. In a queen size, the mattress includes 1,066 encased coils designed to help minimize motion transfer for more undisturbed rest.

The DuraFlex Coil Edge is designed to extend support to the perimeter of the mattress. That added reinforcement can help the sleep surface feel more usable from edge to edge for stretching out or sitting briefly at the side.

The cover features SealyChill Technology, which infuses cooling fibers for a cool-to-the-touch feel. Sealy states it provides a 20% greater cool-to-touch feel than Sealy Posturepedic Plus models.

It is a strong match for shoppers who prefer a firmer feel with a supportive coil system, plus pressure-relieving memory foam on top. It can also be a good fit if you want a cooler-to-the-touch cover and more support around the edges of the mattress.
