Black Friday queen size plush mattresses are worth exploring if you prefer a soft, cushioned sleep surface with support underneath. A standard queen mattress measures 60 by 80 inches, offering room for couples or solo sleepers who like space to stretch out. Plush comfort layers can help cushion the shoulders and hips, making them especially appealing to some side sleepers, though the right feel depends on your body type and preferred sleeping position. Softness and support are not opposites: The upper layers shape the initial feel, while the support core helps distribute your weight. As you compare queen size plush mattresses, look beyond the firmness label and consider how each construction responds to movement. Memory foam typically contours closely to the body, while a plush hybrid mattress combines cushioning layers with a coil support system. Pillow top and Euro top designs add surface padding, but their overall feel varies with the materials underneath. Finding a plush queen mattress during Black Friday starts with understanding what will make your everyday sleep more comfortable. If you share your bed, consider motion isolation to help limit the movement you feel from a partner changing positions, along with edge support if you often sit or sleep near the perimeter. For sleepers who tend to feel warm, compare breathable cover materials and airflow features rather than assuming every soft mattress sleeps the same way. Mattress height matters, too, since a thicker pillow top queen mattress may require deep-pocket sheets and change the overall height of your bed. Before choosing, confirm that the mattress works with your foundation or adjustable base, and review delivery options, return terms and warranty coverage. Comparing Black Friday queen size plush mattresses at Mattress Firm with these priorities in mind can help you focus on lasting comfort, a suitable level of support and a price that fits your budget.

What does plush mean when describing a mattress? + -

Plush describes a softer mattress feel, typically created by cushioning layers near the surface. These layers allow more sink-in than a firmer surface. The term describes firmness rather than a specific material or construction.

What is the difference between a plush mattress and a pillow top? + -

Plush refers to how a mattress feels, while pillow top describes its construction. A pillow top has a distinct cushioning layer sewn onto the mattress surface. A plush mattress can have a pillow top, but it can also have a smooth or quilted surface.

What materials are commonly used in plush mattress comfort layers? + -

Common materials include memory foam, soft polyfoam, latex and fiber padding. Memory foam generally has a slower, contouring feel, while latex tends to feel more springy. Manufacturers may combine several materials to create a plush surface.

How does a plush hybrid mattress differ from a plush all-foam mattress? + -

A plush hybrid combines cushioning layers with a coil core, while a plush all-foam mattress uses foam throughout its core and comfort layers. Hybrids generally have a more springy feel, while all-foam designs often feel less bouncy. The exact feel depends on the materials and construction.

What construction details should I compare when browsing plush mattresses on Black Friday? + -

Compare the core type, comfort-layer materials, layer thicknesses and surface design. Look for descriptions such as pillow top, Euro top or quilted cover to understand how the top is constructed. Firmness labels can vary by brand, so read the construction details alongside the plush designation.
