Black Friday full size plush mattresses are worth exploring if you prefer a soft, cushioned sleep surface without moving up to a larger bed. A standard full size mattress measures approximately 54 inches wide by 75 inches long, making it a practical option for many solo sleepers, teens and guest bedrooms. Plush comfort layers gently cradle the body, which may help side sleepers ease pressure around their shoulders and hips. That soft surface should still work with a supportive core to help maintain comfortable spinal alignment. As you compare full size plush mattresses, consider how your sleep position and body weight affect the feel: the same mattress can feel softer to one person and firmer to another. Back sleepers who enjoy cushioning may prefer a plush model with a more supportive feel underneath, while stomach sleepers often benefit from a firmer surface that limits sinking around the midsection. Measure your room, too, leaving enough space for nightstands, drawers and everyday movement. Choosing among Black Friday full size plush mattresses also means looking beyond the comfort label to understand how each mattress is built. Plush memory foam mattresses typically offer close contouring and can help reduce motion transfer, while plush hybrid mattresses combine cushioning layers with a coil support system. A pillow top or quilted cover can add surface softness, but construction details matter more than the label alone. If you tend to sleep warm, compare features such as breathable covers and airflow-promoting designs, keeping in mind that sheets, bedding and room temperature also influence comfort. Check mattress height against your fitted sheets, confirm that your bed frame or foundation meets the model’s support requirements and review the applicable trial, return and warranty terms before choosing. Mattress Firm can help you compare full size mattress options based on comfort preferences, bedroom space and budget, so your Black Friday mattress search stays focused on what matters most: finding cushioning and support that suit the way you sleep.

What does plush mean in a mattress description? + -

Plush describes a mattress with a soft, cushioned surface feel. That feel usually comes from its upper comfort layers. Firmness labels can vary by brand, so use the label as a starting point rather than a universal standard.

What materials are commonly used in plush mattresses? + -

Plush comfort layers may include memory foam, other cushioning foams, latex or fiber fill. Some mattresses combine several materials, and their thickness and arrangement help shape the surface feel.

Is a plush mattress the same as a pillow top mattress? + -

No. Plush describes how a mattress feels, while pillow top describes its construction. A pillow top has an added cushioning section with a visible seam around its edge. A mattress can feel plush without having a pillow top.

How are plush hybrid and all-foam mattresses constructed? + -

A plush hybrid combines upper comfort layers with a coil core. A plush all-foam mattress uses foam layers throughout, typically with softer cushioning above a denser foam base. Both constructions can have a plush surface.

What product details should I compare when browsing plush mattresses on Black Friday? + -

Look at the comfort rating, comfort-layer materials, core construction and cover details. Check whether the mattress has a smooth, quilted, pillow top or Euro top surface. These details help you understand the construction beyond the plush label.
