Setting up a Nectar mattress is a straightforward process that begins with choosing a clear, well-ventilated space and placing the mattress foundation or bed frame in its final position. Carefully bring the boxed Nectar mattress into the room before opening the packaging, then remove the outer plastic without using a sharp object that could damage the mattress. Unroll the mattress on top of the bed frame, cut away the remaining plastic and allow the memory foam layers to expand. Your Nectar mattress may be comfortable enough to sleep on shortly after unboxing, but letting it fully expand for up to 72 hours can help it reach its intended height and feel. A temporary new-mattress smell is normal for some foam mattresses and should gradually fade with airflow. For the best Nectar mattress setup, make sure the support surface is sturdy, level and compatible with the mattress size. Use a properly spaced platform bed, adjustable base or other approved foundation, and check that the frame provides consistent support across the entire mattress.
