Pleasant and easy time buying a mattress and base here! Ivan was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Just based on a few pieces of info from my partner and I (price range, sleeping position, preferred firmness) he picked out a mattress that we both loved. Even after trying a few others for good measure, we came back to his original recommendation- he knows his stuff! I never felt like I was getting a sales pitch- just having a friendly chat with someone who had our best interests in mind. Definitely recommend this store for any younger first-time mattress buyers, since we had a great experience.

Melissa was the best of the best! I can't remember the last time I received customer service of this quality it was way before covid started. Melissa was friendly , knowledgeable extremely helpful in picking out the right bed. She went the extra mile to help me save money. She gave me a great alternative for delivery. She thought of everything, and was able to give me a health care worker discount too. I truly felt like she was looking out for my best interest. Thank you Melissa for not only getting me a great bed but restoring my faith in customer service. Definitely go check out mattress firm and ask for Melissa in the Mission Valley store. A+++

We weren’t aiming to buy on Sunday as a matter of fact we had agreed to NOT buy but just test mattresses and shop around. We started at the Friars location where Will helped us. Will was kind, knowledgeable, and so patient with our millions of questions. Based off of our likes and dislikes he made a recommendation for us to head to the flagship store to test out a mattress he didn’t have in his inventory. He said they would take great care of us and sent us on our way. Right as we walked into the 2nd store we were cheerfully greeted by Ivan. We shared with Ivan that we had come from being with Will and that we were specifically looking for the model that wasn’t available at the other location. Ivan wasted no time and took us straight over to test the recommended model. Our turning moment came when we mentioned to Ivan that we had set a budget under 1k but the mattress we had our eyes on was way way more than that. Instead of pushing the higher sale immediately he took us to something that was highly rated and within our budget. He also fitted us individually for pillows to suit our needs. That show of respect made us want to buy that same day and from Ivan. We ended up buying with the higher end mattress after a long uninterrupted (no pressure) conversation to discuss our budget. We know we will be happy and sleeping better in the long term. Thanks to Will and Ivan we will be loyal customers of Mattress Firm. In days of people buying mattresses in a box these two professionals show the importance and value of in store shopping!

I first went to the smaller store in Mission valley and was graciously greeted by an employee already helping other guests. He gave me the same time and attention even though he was busy. He was very helpful and when i didn’t find what i was looking for he directed me to the larger store not too far away. I then went to the larger store and was greeted by Will. Again i received first class service and Will was very knowledgeable, personable and gave great customer service. He helped me explore and find a mattress based on my needs. It was a five star experience and i will be back soon to purchase.

We went to look for a new mattress on Friday and didn’t know what to expect since we were on a budget. As soon as we walked in Ivan greeted us with a big smile, he asked all the right questions, showed us multiple options and made this experience super fun, he is truly the best! He was super knowledgeable and was so patient with us as we sat and laid on every mattress there. We walked out with a CA king and within our budget. I would definitely recommend this store and Ivan.
